Below is a selection of a few of the activities available in this region. If you would like any further information we would be delighted to assist you with our recommendations.

Milford Sound

New Zealand's iconic fiord, surrounded by majestic waterfalls, towering peaks, and serene waters.

The drive from Te Anau to Milford Sound covers it all, from lush beech forest and vast valleys to mirror-like lakes, towering mountains and impressive feats of roading engineering. While the final reward is the breathtaking vista of Milford Sound Piopiotahi, the Milford Road delivers a journey which is every bit as impressive as the destination. Te Anau is perfectly situated midway between Queenstown and Milford Sound.

Once you arrive at Milford Sound there is a range of different cruise options for you to choose from. One of our favourites is the Milford Sound Premium Cruise run by Real NZ. This cruise is smaller in numbers and you can enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and canapes while taking in the spectacular beauty of Milford Sound.
